Warm/True Spring colours are bright, absolutely warm and medium to medium-light in value. Think of a blossoming spring garden. The grass is bright fresh green, the tulips are orange red, the dandelions are bright warm yellow. The drops of dew on the flowers and grass reflect the sunshine, look fresh and slightly golden.
Similarly with the previous mood boards (Soft Autumn, Soft Summer and Bright/Clear Spring), I have chosen a combination of outfits, accessories, metals, makeup and materials that would be perfectly suitable for the Warm/True Spring Colour Type.

The focal point of the mood board is a great example of a Warm/True Spring woman. The eye, skin, cheek, freckle, lip and hair colour are very common among Warm/True Spring men and women. When I saw her face, I simply knew I had to include it on the mood board. Can you see how her face is in harmony with the colour fan as well as all the colours around her? You may ask, what does it mean: “in harmony”? It means that nothing clashes with her natural colouring. It means that the colours, metals and textures around her complement her and make her stand out. Nothing overpowers nor undermines her natural beauty, nothing makes her natural colours read as “less than” or “lacking”. Her skin, eyes, hair and lips read as beautiful, understood, accepted and supported. Nothing tries to disrupt the harmony or make her feel inadequate: too warm, too light, too pale too brown, too orange… Every chosen harmonious colour says: “I am here to support your natural beauty, I will never make you feel less than. You are the number one here.”
The ideal metal for a Warm/True Spring is bright gold with polished rather than matte finish (see the watch or the sandals). A “wet” effect is a perfect finish for this Colour Type (think of the dew drops on spring flowers), hence why I included a bright coral red lipgloss (Springs should always prefer glossy rather than matte lipsticks). Warm/True Spring is one of the lucky Colour Types that can truly enjoy the positive psychological benefits of the colour orange and look great in it. The Warm/True Spring orange is bright, fresh, it might remind you of sorbets or tangerines or fresh oranges or peaches (i.e. it is not a deep & muted pumpkin orange).
