Make-up Tutorial For Autumns
I came across a short makeup tutorial on Youtube and I thought, “this would be an excellent inspiration for women with Autumn colouring”. Autumn Colour Types are: Soft Autumn, Soft Autumn Light, Soft Autumn Deep, Warm/True Autumn and Deep/Dark Autumn.
The video tutorial features Jessica Alba who is most probably a Deep/Dark Autumn (or somewhere on the axes between Warm/True Autumn and Deep/Dark Autumn) creating a warm and bronzy makeup look using neutral colours from the Autumn Seasons’ colour palettes. The beauty of the video is in its harmony: Jessica is an Autumn Season, she wears a top in her flattering colour, her hair colour complements her natural beauty and her makeup colours, textures and the overall effect is simply spot on. It is her, it is authentic, it is beautiful.
An Autumn Season Woman: Warm, Deep and Muted
Because it is a rather simple and neutral look, I believe lots of women who belong to the Autumn Seasons might be able to learn from it and test it on themselves. They are free to do minor adjustments, of course, to make the look even more their own. Soft Autumns might add more softness to the look and those who are warm-neutral in hue might tone down the overall warmth slightly. Warm/True Autumns may actually increase the overall warm effect by adding orange-bronzy tones and be generous with the warm gold shimmer.
