I have decided to create (at least) one mood board for each of the 12 Colour Types using cut-outs from recent fashion, lifestyle and beauty magazines. I want to capture the essence of each Colour Type using the latest fashion and trends. I want to show how each and every Colour Type is modern, trendy, fashionable and chic, simply “in vogue”.
The Light Spring Colour Type is slightly warm (neutral-warm), light in value and medium bright in chroma. The colours are light, bright, fresh and full of light. Do they remind you of french macaroons? All featured clothes, metals, materials, accessories and makeup would be great for women of this Colour Type (remember, the mood board is dedicated to the Colour Type only, it does not refer to any particular Image Archetype). Could the lady on the bottom left be a Light Spring? It is definitely possible, some Light Springs could look like her. Other Light Springs might have a lighter hair colour. As children, Light Springs are usually light warm yellow blond or strawberry blond.

This board features beautiful feminine dresses, skirts and suits as well as shoes, sunglasses and jewellery. The overall colour effect is joyful and optimistic, fresh and youthful. I found the majority of examples of suitable items for Light Springs in magazines that were published in spring and summer, however, I slightly lacked Light Spring options in the autumn/winter fashion collections. I will keep an eye on it and hopefully prepare another Light Spring mood board featuring more winter clothes.
